The Gateway relies on financial gifts from generous partners such as individuals, churches, and corporations to complete our work. Please follow the link below to give.
Thanks so much!
Monthly Giving Program
The Gateway needs funding to maintain the programs and services we offer through our Drop-in Centre, which is critical to the life of Gateway. Any amount of monthly giving would help us to continue to offer food and shelter from the elements to our residents and those living in poverty in our community who come to visit. To set-up a regular monthly donation, please contact Cindy Fuller by e-mail or at 416-368-0324 ext. 222.
The Gateway Memorial Wall
The Gateway Memorial Wall acknowledges special benefactors who make significant contributions to the shelter in the name of a special loved one or their organization. For information on how you can create a lasting tribute to someone on the Memorial Wall, call Cindy today.
We always are always short of the following items for our residents and community members:
1) Running shoes, work boots, socks
2) Underwear-men's, various sizes
3) Jeans-especially for men
5) Coffee creamer
6) Toiletries, razors, toothbrush, toothpaste
We cannot receive furniture donations at the Gateway due to our very limited storage space. If you live in downtown Toronto, please contact the Furniture Bank for furniture pick-up or to donate. The Furniture Bank's contact information is: 416.934-1229 or www.furniturebank.org. Beyond the downtown core, the Salvation Army offers furniture pick-up services in Hamilton, Richmond Hill, Scarborough and other sites. Please contact our head office at 416-321-2654 or see our website for more information: www.salvationarmy.ca.
